The Rural Development Agency implements projects and programs initiated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, conducting extension activities in the field of agriculture across 54 municipalities of the country. The goal of the agency is to promote the development of rural areas and agriculture.

The Rural Development Agency, with the support of the United Nations Development Programme in Georgia, announces an internship in regional offices within the framework of the project "Modernization of the Vocational Education System in Georgian Agriculture":

In Guria - Ozurgeti, Lanchkhuti, Chokhatauri;
In Imereti - Zestafoni, Baghdati, Vani, Terjola, Samtredia, Sachkhere, Tkibuli;
In Racha-Lechkhumi and Lower Svaneti - Ambrolauri, Lentekhi, Oni, Tsageri;
In Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - Zugdidi, Abasha, Martvili, Mestia, Senaki, Chkhorotsku, Zalenjikha, Khobi;
In Samtskhe-Javakheti - Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Aspindza, Akhalkalaki, Borjomi, Ninotsminda;
In Adjara - Batumi, Keda, Kobuleti, Shuakhevi, Khelvachauri, Khulo.

Duration of the internship: 3 months.

Schedule: Part-time, as agreed.

Monthly salary: 210 GEL (including taxes according to Georgian regulations).

We offer individuals interested in the agriculture sector the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the following activities:

Agricultural extension (knowledge sharing) in the following areas: horticulture, viticulture, plant protection, and fruit growing (selective);
Consulting the public on ongoing state projects/programs of the agency;
Planning/coordinating/organizing field and office meetings and events in the region/municipality;
Field visits to farmers - "Field Days";
Preparation and presentation of presentations

Candidate requirements:

Knowledge of the Georgian language;
Student of a vocational institution (preference will be given) or a student of no less than the 2nd year at a higher educational institution;
Basic knowledge of office computer programs;
Communicative;
Responsible;
Time management skills.

Stages of the competition:
