The Rural Development Agency announces a vacancy for the non-staff position of Archive Specialist at the Records Management Division of the Administrative Department.

Work location: Tbilisi, Dighomi Massif
Salary: 2,000 GEL (net)
Working hours: 09:00-18:00

Functions and responsibilities:

Receiving and processing documents to be archived according to the established procedures (including working on extracts and separating documents for disposal as waste paper);
Ensuring the registration, description, and protection of archival documents;
Maintaining records of the use of documents stored in the archive and controlling their return;
Organizing and conducting archive commission meetings and preparing the relevant minutes;
Preparing archival certificates, extracts, and copies for issuance;
Periodically updating the Agency’s records nomenclature.

Qualification requirements:

Higher education.
1 year of work experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of the relevant legislative framework (Law of Georgia “On the National Archival Fund and the National Archives”);
Knowledge of office computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).

Problem analysis skills.
