With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and organized by the Rural Development Agency, at the “Green Week” exhibition in Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany, fifteen Georgian companies presented their domestically produced agri-food products to visitors.

The Director of the Rural Development Agency, Zurab Gozalishvili, met with the staff of the Agency’s Kvemo Kartli Regional Office.

The presentation of the application, which provides farmers with recommendations for carrying out agricultural activities based on weather conditions, was attended by the Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency, Giorgi Avaliani, and the National Coordinator of the Early Warning Systems Project of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Ketevan Skhireli.

The Rural Development Agency has presented a list of international exhibitions planned for 2026, in which representatives of Georgia’s agri-food sector are expected to participate.

The Kakheti Regional Service of the Rural Development Agency unites 8 Information and Consultation Centres.

The Director of the Agency received information from the Head of the Shida Kartli Regional Service about the work carried out and ongoing activities.

The Director of the Rural Development Agency, Zurab Gozalishvili, together with the State Representative in the Shida Kartli region, Simon Guledani, summarized the results of the non-standard apple sale promotion program at a meeting with members of the coordination headquarters and representatives of fruit processing enterprises involved in the program in the city of Gori.

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songhulashvili, introduced the new director of the Rural Development Agency, Zurab Gozalishvili, to the agency’s employees.

From September 9 to November 25 of the current year, 15 fruit processing enterprises involved in the state program accepted more than 34,000 tons of non-standard apples. As a result, farmers received income of more than 10 million GEL, the state subsidy amounts to approximately more than 3 million GEL.
