Georgian agri-food products are presented in China, at the international exhibition “SIAL Guangzhou” for the first time

With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and organized by the Rural Development Agency, Georgia is participating for the first time this year in the international exhibition “SIAL Guangzhou” held in the Chinese city of Guangzhou. At the same time, Georgian agri-food products have already been presented in China for the third time at international exhibitions in the SIAL format.

Taking into account the current situation in the region, the Rural Development Agency will no longer participate in the international exhibition “Hospitality Qatar,” scheduled to be held on 12–14 October 2026 in Doha, State of Qatar.

The Rural Development Agency Continues to Support the Production of Annual Crops Under the State Agro Co-financing Program

Within the framework of the State Agro Co-financing Program, the Rural Development Agency continues to subsidize the interest rates on loans issued by commercial banks to support the cultivation of annual crops. This support mechanism had been available to farmers and agribusiness operators for years under the Preferential Agrocredit Project, and since July of this year, it has been integrated into the State Agro Co-financing Program.
