At the working meeting, which was attended by the deputy director of the Rural Development Agency, Natalia Kharatishvili, attention was focused on issues such as risk assessment and management, corruption prevention measures and monitoring.  It should be noted that relevant recommendations will be prepared based on the information exchanged at the meeting.

Within the framework of the visit, the director of the Rural Development Agency, Davit Tsitlidze, together with the members of the delegation, held meetings with the representatives of the State Agro-Insurance Agency of the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, as well as with companies and cooperatives working in different areas of agriculture.

With the support of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture and the organization of the Rural Development Agency, the Georgian stand was presented for the first time at the World of Private Label International Trade Show exhibition held in the city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Beekeeping trainings were conducted with the support of the Rural Development Agency and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) program "Farmer to Farmer" (F2F).  About 200 beekeepers attended the trainings held throughout the country.
