The Georgian pavilion is presented at the international exhibition “Foodex Japan 2026” in Tokyo
With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and organized by the Rural Development Agency, six Georgian companies are participating in the international exhibition “Foodex Japan 2026”, held in Tokyo, Japan.
The Georgian pavilion was visited by the Vice Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, Yuhei Yamashita. The Vice Minister was hosted by the Director of the Rural Development Agency Zurab Gozalishvili and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Japan, Teimuraz Lezhava.
“The Rural Development Agency is presenting the Georgian pavilion at the third international exhibition already this year. The participation of Georgian companies in exhibitions is an important instrument for increasing exports and entering new markets. We continue working on the creation and development of financing mechanisms that promote the growth of high-quality Georgian agricultural production and strengthen its competitiveness,” noted the Director of the Rural Development Agency, Zurab Gozalishvili.
The Georgian pavilion featured products produced by the companies “Maisi 2020”, “Hobi”, “Geonaturali”, “Agroline”, “Achinebuli” and “Tskali Margabeli”: walnuts, honey, water and fruit juices.
The international exhibition Foodex Japan 2026 is one of the largest international events in Asia. This year, nearly 3,000 companies from more than 70 countries are participating in the exhibition.
