From September 9 to November 25 of the current year, 15 fruit processing enterprises involved in the state program accepted more than 34,000 tons of non-standard apples. As a result, farmers received income of more than 10 million GEL, the state subsidy amounts to approximately more than 3 million GEL.
With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and the organization of the Rural Development Agency, six Georgian companies introduced their own agri-food products to visitors at the U.S. Private Label Trade Show in Chicago, USA.

The Rural Development Agency will accept applications for participation in the state program “Plant the Future” from November 10 of this year, 12:00, until February 28, 2026.
From September 9 to November 5 of this year, 15 fruit processing enterprises involved in the state program received up to 22,500 tons of non-standard apples. As a result, farmers received up to 6.5 million GEL in income, with a state subsidy of approximately 2.5 million GEL.

At the agri-conference “AgriFuture Georgia”, which was dedicated to strengthening Georgia’s agricultural potential through international cooperation, participants discussed agricultural production trends, modern technologies for blueberry cultivation, and opportunities for utilizing international services.
Within the framework of the state program, fruit processing enterprises in the regions of Shida Kartli, Kvemo Kartli, Kakheti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, and Racha-Lechkhumi Kvemo Svaneti are purchasing non-standard apples.
Receiving applications for participation in the exhibition selection competition will start on October 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM and will continue until November 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM
At the initiative of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, changes have been made to the State Technical Assistance Program. According to the decision made at the Government meeting of Georgia, a new component — co-financing of services provided by foreign experts — has been added to the state program.
