A natural juice production facility created with the support of the Rural Development Agency exports to 40 countries

The organic juice factory "Georgias Natural" was established with the financial support of the Rural Development Agency. A total investment of 8 million GEL has been made in the enterprise; among them, 6.9 million GEL is Preferential Agrocredit, and 500,000 GEL is a grant co-financing. The enterprise, which processes more than 3,000 tons of fruits and vegetables annually, employs 60 people permanently. The products are sold both on the local market and exported to 40 countries worldwide.

Farmer Ilia Nakhucrishvili set up a 500 sq.m greenhouse farm within the framework of the state program "Georgian Vegetables from Greenhouses," where he cultivates lettuce. Within the framework of the program, the Rural Development Agency fully finances the interest rate on the loan taken by the farmer — 50,000 GEL — for a period of 24 months. According to the terms of the program, the farmer will also receive additional funding in the amount of 13,500 GEL from the Rural Development Agency.
