Based on the decision made at the session of the Government of Georgia, the Rural Development Agency will implement the "Beekeeping Support Program."

Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Solomon Pavliashvili, opened the forum "Public and Private Extension Cooperation," organized by the Rural Development Agency within the framework of the third phase of the "Modernizing the Vocational Education System in Agriculture in Georgia" (VET) project, with a welcome speech.

At the working meeting, which was attended by the deputy director of the Rural Development Agency, Natalia Kharatishvili, attention was focused on issues such as risk assessment and management, corruption prevention measures and monitoring.  It should be noted that relevant recommendations will be prepared based on the information exchanged at the meeting.

Within the framework of the visit, the director of the Rural Development Agency, Davit Tsitlidze, together with the members of the delegation, held meetings with the representatives of the State Agro-Insurance Agency of the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, as well as with companies and cooperatives working in different areas of agriculture.

Receiving applications for the program will resume from 12:00 on July 16, 2024. Applications will be accepted until the budget is over.

Receiving applications for processing enterprises component will resume from 12:00 on July 9, 2024. Applications will be accepted until 18:00 on July 19.
