At the meeting held within the framework of the international exhibition "FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025," the organizational issues of Georgian blueberry exports were discussed
The meeting with representatives of the berry-producing company "Wonderland Farmers" was attended by the Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency, Natalia Kharatishvili, the Director of the Georgian Blueberry Growers Association, Shota Tsukoshvili, and representatives of blueberry-producing companies.
"The Rural Development Agency supports farmers and entrepreneurs at all stages of the agricultural value chain, both in the production of high-quality Georgian agri-food products and in increasing access to export markets. It is precisely this support that has resulted in the growing trend of Georgian blueberry production and export," said Natalia Kharatishvili, Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency.
According to Shota Tsukoshvili, Director of the Georgian Blueberry Growers Association, participating in the international exhibition was a great opportunity for blueberry-producing companies, as important meetings were held with buyers to discuss the sale of the 2025 harvest.
Organized by the Rural Development Agency, eight Georgian companies participated in the international exhibition "FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025", held in Berlin, Germany, 6 of which are blueberry producers.
