Beekeeping trainings were conducted with the support of the Rural Development Agency and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) program "Farmer to Farmer" (F2F).  About 200 beekeepers attended the trainings held throughout the country.

The training was conducted by Bridget Gross, an international expert invited from the United States of America.

The training included both theoretical and practical training on the work to be done in the apiary. Beekeepers received detailed information on artificial insemination, breeding farms, pest disease management and beehive inspection methods.
