Farmers will be able to purchase harvesting agricultural machinery with increased state co-financing
With the changes made to the Co-financing Program for Harvesting Agricultural Machinery, the total amount of co-financing provided by the Rural Development Agency for the purchase of harvesting agricultural machinery has increased from 150,000 GEL to 250,000 GEL.
The co-financing amount from the Rural Development Agency per beneficiary, in the case of harvesting agricultural machinery, will be no more than 30% of the machinery's value, but not exceeding 250,000 GEL. In the case of handheld tea-picking machinery, the co-financing will be no more than 50%, but not exceeding 1,000 GEL.
According to the established conditions of the program, the agricultural machinery to be purchased must be new (not previously used) and must have been manufactured no more than two calendar years prior to the purchase. Additionally, the machinery must have a warranty period of at least 6 months from the date the application is submitted.
Applications will be accepted starting from July 15 at 12:00 PM. The total budget of the program is 10 million GEL.
