„Rural Development Agency, through the state programs and support of the international donor organizations, develops production of blue blueberries. At the area more than 2,500 hectares is financed planting of the blue blueberries. Result of the fruitful cooperation of export market connections of Usaid with  the generation program is that the harvest received from the gardens planted by financing of the state programs is sold in Germany and countries of  the gulf “ -  declared the director of Rural Development Agency Davit Tsitladze.   

Within the framework of the generation program of export market connections, blue blueberries are sold in the supermarkets of Rewe in Germany, Westzone, Lulu and Wemart in the United Arab Emirates, in particular in Dubai.  

the generation program of export market connections is implemented by the agricultural program of USAID with the Rural Development Agency “Produce in Georgia”.
