Levan Davitashvili has been acquainted with the operational process in the new-established Enterprise

Minister of Agriculture of Georgia Levan Davitashvili, Governor of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region Gocha Zeikidze and the Director of the Agricultural Projects Management Agency, Mariana Morgoshia visited the mushrooms processing enterprise Kartuli Soko(Georgian Mushroom) in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region located in the village Ksani and they have been acquainted with the production process at the place. The mentioned company is a beneficiary of the co-financing Project Program Agro-Processing and Storage Enterprises. US $1 500 00 have been invested in the Enterprise, out of which US $ 250 000 is a grant, and US $ 500 000 is a Preferential Agro Credit. The enterprise Kartuli Soko (Georgian mushroom) is a producer of the Kalmakha mushrooms and mushroom-briquettes and for the given moment is under the charge of products realization within the local market.The Center is operating at the territory of enterprise where the interested persons will have the possibility to complete the educational course.The development of village and agriculture is in direct relation with the foundation of new enterprises and economic growth. The company Kartuli Soko (Georgian mushroom) is another efficient example.Currently 46 people are employed at the enterprise. It is of great importance that the enterprise has the possibility to provide consultations to the interested farmers through educational trainings-Levan Davitashvili said.According the statement of Governor of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region Gocha Zeikidze, the support of such kind of enterprises has a special importance, thus they are producing green goods.Since 2013, the Ministry of Agriculture Project Management Agency is implementing various projects in order to support new industries and enterprises. The entrepreneurs are encouraged to develop and expand their production through financial support of the government. Preferential loans are been issued within the projects to create new or expand already existed enterprises. For the given moment, already more than 700 operating and 150 new-established Enterprises has been financed and 10 thousand persons are employed under the Project framework.Agricultural Projects Management Agency implements an integrated Agro Project which is targeted on long-term development and its aim is to promote to increase the competitiveness, the growth of a high-quality production, provision of food safety and food security issues.
