The Memorandum for purposes of supporting the internally displaced persons from Abkhazia in the process of production of agricultural cultures was signed between the Rural Development Agency and Agency for Economic Programs.

The Director of Rural Development Agency, Mr. Ilia Tamarashvili and the Chairman of Agency for Economic Programs, Mr. Vasil Babunashvili had signed the Memorandum.

Additional financial support of beneficiaries of state program “Plant the future, the internally displaced persons from Abkhazia is envisaged by the Memorandum.

The Parties of the Memorandum agree that 70% of the program presented by the beneficiary of state program “Plant the future”, internally displaced person from Abkhazia will be funded by the Rural Development Agency, 20% of the program – by the Agency of Economic Programs and 10% by the beneficiary.

In the event of co-funding of beneficiaries residing in villages adjacent to the dividing line of occupied territory of Abkhazia the 80% of total costs of the program of beneficiary will be funded by the Rural Development Agency, 10% by the Agency of Economic Programs and 10% by the beneficiary.

In order to get additional benefits, the persons internally displaced from Abkhazia should apply to the Agency of Economic Programs by the request on co-funding.
