Program Conditions and Subsidy Amount

Under the program, the subsidy is provided for the purchase of pesticides and agrochemicals necessary for hazelnut cultivation. The subsidy is determined by the following conditions:

• If the beneficiary owns and/or uses and/or holds a total of at least 0.2 hectares but no more than 3 hectares of hazelnut orchards, the subsidy amount is set at 500 points per hectare of hazelnut orchard, with 1 point equaling 1 GEL, for each such beneficiary.
• If the beneficiaries co-own and/or co-use and/or co-hold a total of at least 0.2 hectares but no more than 3 hectares of hazelnut orchards, the subsidy amount is set at 500 points per hectare of hazelnut orchard, with 1 point equaling 1 GEL, for each such plot of land, for such beneficiaries.
• In the case where the beneficiary(ies) own hazelnut orchards both individually and in co-ownership and/or co-use and/or co-hold, the subsidy amount will not consider the combined area of individually owned and co-owned/co-used/co-held hazelnut orchards. Such beneficiaries will receive the subsidy amount separately as determined by the program conditions.
• In the case of co-ownership and/or co-use and/or co-hold of hazelnut orchards, the subsidy will be issued to one of the co-owners and/or co-users and/or co-holders, who will present to the bank a notarized consent document in accordance with Georgian legislation, confirming their authority to receive and manage the subsidy on behalf of the co-owners and/or co-users and/or co-holders, or a consent document signed by all co-owners and/or co-users and/or co-holders, for which the presenting co-owner and/or co-user and/or co-holder will be responsible for the authenticity of the content and signatures. This document must confirm their authority to receive and manage the subsidy on behalf of the co-owners and/or co-users and/or co-holders.

Registration or registration data in the hazelnut orchards' cadastre will not affect the recognition of ownership or other rights to real estate or registration in the public registry, nor the creation of ownership or other legitimate rights.

The deadline for using the points and/or funds credited to the card(s) is August 31, 2025. Accordingly, if the beneficiary has not utilized the subsidy points credited under the "Hazelnut Production Support Program" by August 31, 2025, any unused funds/points on the account will automatically be annulled.
