On September 2 and 17, 2023, the population affected by the hail in the Kakheti region, who completely destroyed the crop and did not hand over the grapes to the processing plant, was given a one-time aid in the amount of 3,500 GEL per one hectare of damaged vineyard, but no more than 35,000 GEL.

Within the framework of the program, on September 2 and 17 in the Kakheti region, 5,833 farmers/beneficiaries affected by the hail received a total of 9,598,252.95 GEL as aid. The total area for which the aid was provided was 3,634 ha.
