The Rural Development Agency implements projects and programs initiated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, carries out agricultural extension activities in 54 municipalities across the country. The agency’s goal is to promote rural and agricultural development.

N(N)LE – Rural Development Agency announces a vacancy for the position of Leading Specialist at the Khobi Information-Consultation Center.

Workplace: Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region, Khobi Municipality, Khobi city

Salary: 1250 GEL (net)

Working hours: 09:00–18:00

 

Functions and Responsibilities:

• Selection of target farmer groups, identification of their needs/problems, analysis, and preparation of appropriate recommendations.
• Implementation of agricultural extension, organization/arrangement of field and office meetings with interested parties; provision of sectoral (theoretical and practical) recommendations through office, field, and telephone consultations.
• Providing information to interested parties about ongoing projects/programs of the agency.
  
  Preparation of a monthly report on the activities carried out by the Information-Consultation Center.
• Organization of working meetings with colleagues.
• Within the scope of competence, processing incoming correspondence to the center and ensuring electronic records management.
• According to the instructions of the supervisor, collection, processing, analysis, and program input of information on cultivated agricultural land areas, crop yields (including forecasted), production volumes, etc.
• Within the scope of competence, execution of other assignments and instructions related to the agency's activities as directed by the management.
  
  

Qualification Requirements:

• Higher education – preferably in an agrarian field.
• At least one year of work experience.
• Knowledge of computer office programs.
