Position: Chief Specialist of the Internal Audit Unit
Rural Development Agency announces a vacancy for the position of Chief Specialist of the Internal Audit Unit
Location: Tbilisi
Salary: 3,000 GEL
Working hours: 09:00–18:00
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits;
- Participate in defining the internal audit environment;
- Participate in the process of developing annual and strategic internal audit plans;
- Participate in developing individual internal audit engagement plans;
- Within the framework of assurance activities, obtain sufficient, reliable, and relevant evidence, identify risks, and formulate audit findings;
- Develop recommendations to improve risk management, control, and governance processes;
- Provide regular reporting on audit progress and results to the immediate supervisor;
- Prepare draft internal audit reports;
- Monitor the implementation of issued recommendations;
- Archive and systematize documentation;
- Assess the Agency’s compliance with the legislation of Georgia;
- Perform other instructions and tasks assigned by management related to the activities, within the scope of competence.
Qualification Requirements:
- Higher education in economics and/or law;
- At least 2 years of work experience in auditing;
- Knowledge of the relevant legislative framework (Law of Georgia “On State Internal Financial Control”; Law of Georgia “On State Procurement”; Resolution of the Government of Georgia N593 of December 26, 2016 “On Approval of Internal Audit Methodology”; International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF); Decree of the Government of Georgia No. 1015 of July 30, 2010 on approval of internal audit standards; Decree of the Government of Georgia No. 1016 of July 30, 2010 on approval of the Code of Ethics for Internal Auditors);
- Knowledge of English is desirable;
- Knowledge of computer office programs.
