The memorandum was signed by the director of the Rural Development Agency, Ilia Tamarashvili, and the director of the representative office of "Swisscontact" Georgia, Richard Rose.

The memorandum aims to increase participation of the population in the program  "Plant the Future" of the regions densely populated by ethnic minorities. The memorandum envisages the support from the "Swisscontact" Georgia to the Regional Relations Department of the Rural Development Agency, regional services and information-consulting centers in order to increase the quality of consultations provided to potential and existing beneficiaries.

 "Swisscontact" Georgia promotes inclusive economic, social and ecological development.  The organization implements activities within the framework of the "Regional Small and Medium Enterprises Development Project" (RSMEDP). The project is contributing to the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation regional program.
