Members of milk-producing agricultural cooperatives get acquainted with French cheese making technology

French cheese making masterclass with the support of the European Union and the French Development Agency was conducted by a French expert, Patrick Anglade within the project "FinExCoop Georgia". The training conducted in Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli region included getting acquainted with different raw milk processing and cheese making technologies.

The French cheese making masterclass was provided for the representatives of more than 20 cooperative enterprises which are operating in different regions of Georgia and are created with the financial support of the state.

The project "Finance, Extension and Development of Cooperatives for Georgian Farmers" (FinExCoop Georgia) is funded by the European Union under the EU (NIF) program. The project is managed and coordinated by the French Development Agency (AFD). The four-year project aims to improve access to agricultural finances for small-scale commercial farms and cooperatives in Georgia.
