Submitting of applications for the Green Grants' component of the Rural Development Program has started
Applications for the new grant component of the Rural Development Program will be accepted electronically on the website of the Rural Development Agency (www.rda.gov.ge) from October 8 tthrough December 31 of the current year.
The Rural Development Agency (RDA) is implementing the Rural Development Program with the support of the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) under the European Neighborhood Program for Agricultural and Rural Development (ENPARD).
The program aiming to support the development of rural non-agricultural entrepreneurial activities, is implemented in the municipalities of Keda, Khulo, Borjomi, Akhalkalaki, Tetritskaro, Kazbegi, Lagodekhi and Dedoplistskaro.
The Green Grants component covers the following areas:
Co-financing of simple solar heaters and solar water heaters (sSWH / sSAH), where the maximum amount of the grant to be financed by the Agency is up to GEL 1,000 (grant - up to 90%), and the beneficiary's co-participation in the program is defined at not less than 10% of the total cost;
Vacuum type solar water heaters (vSWH), where the maximum amount of the grant to be financed by the Agency is up to GEL 3,000 (grant - up to 80%) and the beneficiary's contribution is defined at not less than 20% of the total cost;
Thermal insulation of the building: the maximum amount of the grant to be financed by the Agency is up to 8,000 GEL (grant -up to 70%), and the beneficiary's co-participation is defined at not less than 30% of the total cost;
Full thermal insulation: the maximum amount of the grant to be financed by the Agency is up to 12,000 GEL (grant -up to 60%), and the beneficiary's co-participation is defined at not less than 40% of the total cost;
