On May 15, under the Co-financing of Processing and Storage Enterprises project, within the framework of co-financing for new storage enterprises, 15 applications worth 5 million GEL were received as a result of the announced registration. Among them, 10 applications worth 3.5 million GEL were positively evaluated.

Within the framework of the project, application submission for co-financing of new storage enterprises will resume on June 3, from 12:00 PM, until the remaining budget of 1.5 million GEL is exhausted.

Under the state project, co-financing for new storage enterprises amounts to no more than 30% of the total project cost, but not exceeding 350,000 GEL; the contribution amount may consist of own funds as well as agrocredit/leasing.

The project provides additional benefits if the storage enterprise is built in highland settlements or villages near the dividing line, and also if the enterprise is established by an agricultural-status cooperative. In such cases, co-financing will be determined at no more than 40% of the total project cost, and not exceeding 350,000 GEL.
