Along with the growth of primary products production, the demand for processing and storage infrastructure continues growing. Accordingly, by the decision of the Government, in 2023, the budget for the targeted program has increased to GEL 25 million, which will further promote the expansion of production of quality Georgian agricultural products.

It should be noted that from 2014 until today, alone under the co-financing program for processing and storage enterprises, opening of 217 storage and processing plants with an investment value of GEL 289 million was co-financed with GEL 106 million, which  made it possible to store/process products in accordance with modern standards and market requirements.
