In 2023, the state will continue to promote bioproduction
The state will support bio-producers in 2023 through a specially developed program. The target program budget, compared to the current year, is increasing and is set at 500,000 GEL. Considering the fact that the support of organic production is one of the state's priorities, if necessary, the issue of increasing funding will be considered.
In 2022, the bioproduction promotion program was launched in pilot mode. The program envisages the promotion of the transition from non-organic farming to organic farming, which means the reimbursement of the cost of organic production certification, consulting services, the purchase of organic fertilizers and/or biopreparations for use against pests and diseases, the purchase of biopreparations for bee treatment and biosilk, as well as laboratory analysis services for the production of honey and wax.
