The Georgian Fruit Company LLC planted apple orchard in Ksovrisi village, Mtskheta-Mtianeti region within the scopes of the project Plant the Future. Mr. Giorgi Jibladze, the Deputy Director of Agriculture Project Management Agency together with local self-government representatives visited the apple orchard planted on 10 ha by the Georgian Fruit Company LLC. Above mentioned company got involved into the program in 2015 year and received for seedlings purchase the state funding in the amount of 100 000 GEL. The new orchards throughout Georgia are planted on 3 492 ha within the project Plant the Future; state funding amounts 17 382147 million GEL; out of this the orchards in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region are planted on 55 ha of land. The Agricultural Project Management Agency "Invest in Georgia Business" implements the Unified Agro-Project, which is designed for long-term development and its goal is to foster an environment that will promote agricultural competitiveness, high-quality production steady growth and implementation of the food safety international standards.
