Under the „United Agroproject“ the new poultry enterprise was launched in Sagarejo region
Today, the poultry enterprise "Ninotsminda 1" equipped according to modern standards which had been created in Sagarejo municipality within the framework of the "United Agro Project was visited by Levan Dolidze, the preferential agro-credit manager together with Irakli Shioshvili, the deputy governor of Kakheti.
In Ninotsminda 1" poultry farm there are 40,000 hen daily producing 24,000 eggs. 20 people are employed in the enterprise. The product is realized in the local market.
The company is a beneficiary of preferential agro-credit. In total, 250 000 US dollars have been invested in the enterprise, the whole sum of which is a preferential agro-credit.
Since 2013, the Project Management Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture has been implementing various projects for creating new enterprises. Within the projects, preferential credits are issued for the creation of new enterprises, as well as the expansion of existing ones. At this stage, 53 new enterprises have been created in Kakheti region and more than 750 active and 162 new enterprises have already been financed throughout Georgia. Financial support from the state provided the entrepreneurs with an additional push for development and expansion.
Project Management Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture within the framework of the project "Produce in Georgia - for Rapid Development", is implementing the "United Agro Project" which is designed for long-term development and its purpose is to create an environment that will promote the competitiveness in agriculture, stable growth of high quality products and introduction of international standards of food safety.
