In Dmanisi municipality, within the scopes of Cooperative Development State Program, milk processing equipment worth 98 000 GEL, were handed to the agricultural cooperative “Dm-Ansi” with 95% co-financing. The enterprise was built by the Cooperative within the frameworks of its participation. 

“Agricultural cooperation is a way for transformation of small farms into large ones by the support of the state program, it is an opportunity for creation of wealth, production of more products and earning more income”, Mr. Konstantine Khutsaidze, the Head of the Department of Cooperative Development Department at Rural Development Agency said during the meeting with the members of the cooperative “Dm-Ansi”, where he attended together with Mr. Koba Muradashvili, the Mayor of Dmanisi Municipality. 

Cooperative enterprise “Dm-Ansi” has the possibility for processing of 45 tons of milk annually.  13 local members are united by the agricultural cooperative. Product is sold at local market under the brand name “Shvanre”. 

29 cooperative enterprises were established by Rural Development Agency within the frameworks of State Program for development of milk processing agricultural cooperatives.
