Minister of Agriculture of Georgia Levan Davitashvili attended the opening ceremony of high-technology combined food products company plant NUTRIMAX. The Enterprise has been established under the framework of project Produce in Georgia and with support and partnership of specialists of one of the worldwide leading Dutch Companies Trouw Nutrition. More than US$2 000 000 has been invested in the production, out of which within the framework of preferential agro-credit US$600000 have been distributed, US$600 000 in Produce in Georgia, and own share consisted of US$800 000. As todays date the 152nd newest Enterprise has been inaugurated with the contribution of government. It should be noted, that together with agricultural field development projects of Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia, it has become accessible for entrepreneurs and farmers to get the financial resource. Newest high-technological food-producing company which has been opened today will importantly enhance to the breeder development, as nutrition base represents one of the main condition for the development of this field. The owners of the Enterprise have a great experience. Nutrimax will implement the European technologies and ensure with produced products not only the Georgian market but it shall produce an export through the Caucasian region - Levan Davitashvili said. The combined food produced by the new plant, which is targeted for aviculture, cattle-breeding and fish-breeding sectors, represents itself a high-quality, well-balanced, non-chemical production. The efficiency of plant annually amounts to 50 000 tones combined food. It is planned to provide the recommendations to the farmers and their consultation from the food exploitation point of view within the frame of the Project.
