The anti-crisis plan of agriculture is announced in Samtskhe-Javakheti
Meetings are being held in the regions of Georgia on the programs envisaged by the agricultural anti-crisis plan.
In Samtskhe-Javakheti region, the anti-crisis plan Care for Village and Farmers was presented to the local farmers and self-government representatives by Mr. Besik Amiranashvili, the Governor of the region and Mr. Tornike Kapanadze, the Head of the Projects Development Department of the Agricultural And Rural Development Agency
The meeting, which was held in Akhaltsikhe, was attended by the Mayors of the municipalities of the region, as well as farmers and villagers. The emphasis was made on the anti-crisis plan for agriculture. Our farmers will have very important benefits, which, I think, will allow them to cultivate more land in the fall. State benefits apply to the land reclamation services as well as harvesting work. Farmers will also receive significant benefits in agro-diesel. 200 GEL subsidy per hectare is a significant additional incentive for landowners Mr. Besik Amiranashvili declared.
According to Mr. Tornike Kapanadze, it is important to introduce an anti-crisis plan to farmers and the individuals involved in agro-business in addition to the local self-government representatives, this includes both direct and sectoral support.
Under the program developed within the agricultural anti-crisis plan "Care for Villages and Farmers", each farmer can develop a farm that will ultimately increase agricultural production and ensure the country's agro-food safety.
The presentation of the agricultural anti-crisis plan "Caring for the Village and Farmers" will be held in all regions of Georgia.
