Farmers benefit from from the state under the Agricultural Anti-Crisis Plan
Farmers and entrepreneurs engaged in agricultural activities receive significant support from the state under the Agricultural Anti-Crisis Plan "Caring for the Village and Farmers".

Within the framework of the state program for incentives for agricultural landowners, agro-points have already been accrued to up to 165,000 farmers. The amount of the accrued subsidy exceeds 28.9 million GEL. Accrual of agro-points continues.
Under the AgroDiesel Promotion Program, up to 122,000 beneficiaries received up to 32,000 tons of AgroDiesel discount cards. Farmers who have already cashed in discount cards in total have saved up to GEL 4.3 million.
As of September 30, 2020, more than 17,000 policies have been issued under the Agro-insurance program, covering 18,000 hectares of land, which is 32% more than in the same period last year. The cost of the insured crop exceeds 160 million GEL.
Within the framework of the state program on modernization of the dairy sector and market access, 255 applications were approved from Imereti, Kakheti, Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli regions, with state co-financing amounting to GEL 12.4 million.
Under thePreferential Agrocredit program, the state fully covers the 6-month interest rate to finance the current costs of growing annual crops. 2215 agro-loans have been issued, the total amount of the loan exceeds 40 million GEL, including the co-financing of interest by the agency exceeds 3.3 million GEL.
387 beneficiaries are involved in the Agricultural Support Program, including 252 beneficiaries; for them 50% of the cost of agricultural machinery has been funded; applications received from 135 beneficiaries for the arrangement and modernization of greenhouses and their installation works, as well as for the purchase and installation of an irrigation system for annual crops were satisfied.
