Farmers Smoothly Enjoy the Agricultural Anti-Crisis Plan Programs
Farmers and entrepreneurs involved in agricultural activities receive significant support from the state as part of the anti-crisis plan Care for the Village and Farmers.

As part of the state program to encourage agricultural landowners, agro-points have already been accrued to more than 154,000 farmers. The amount of the accrued subsidy exceeds 27.5 million GEL. Accrual of agro-points continues.
- As part of the agro-diesel assistance program, more than 118,800 beneficiaries received agro-diesel discount cards of up to 32,000 tons. Farmers who have already cashed in discount cards have saved in total up to 3,900,000 GEL.
- As part of the agro-insurance state program, by August 31, 2020, up to 17,000 policies were issued that is 15% more than in the same period last year. Up to 20,000 hectares of land have been insured that is 49% more than in the same period last year. The cost of the insured crop exceeds 159 million GEL.
- As part of the dairy sector modernization and market access state program, 85 applications were approved from Imereti, Kakheti, Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli regions, and the state co-financing amounted to 2,400,000 GEL.
- As part of the preferential agro-credit program, the state fully covers the 6-month interest rate of the loans for financing the current costs of growing annual crops. 2062 agro-loans have been issued, the total amount of the loans exceeds 37 million GEL, including the interest to be co-financed by the Agency exceeding 3 million GEL.
- The agricultural production program involves 387 beneficiaries, where 252 beneficiaries have been financed 50% of the cost of agricultural machinery, and applications of 135 beneficiaries for financing of the purchase of fixed assets and their installation works required for the arrangement and modernization of greenhouses as well as purchase and installation of irrigation systems for annual crops, have been approved.
