Farmers and entrepreneurs involved in agricultural activities receive significant support from the state within the framework of the agricultural anti-crisis plan "Care for the Village and Farmers".

As of June 1:

• As part of the state program to stimulate agricultural landowners, up to 27,000 farmers have already been accrued agro-scores. The amount of the accrued subsidy exceeds 4 million GEL. Agro-scores continue to be accrued.
• More than 26,000 beneficiaries have already benefited from the Agro-Diesel Program. Farmers received discount cards worth up to 12,000 tons of agro-diesel.
• The number of policies issued under the agro-insurance program amounted 10,899. The land area of ​​more than 10,000 hectares is insured, and the value of the insured crop exceeds 107 million GEL
• Under the preferential agro-credit program, the state will fully cover the 6-month interest rate to finance the current expenditures for growing annual crops. 319 agro-loans have been issued; the total amount of the loan exceeds 6 million GEL, including more than 400,000 GEL co-financing by the Agency.
• Up to 500 applications have been received from Imereti, Kakheti, Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli regions within the framework of the state program for modernization of the dairy industry and market access. The requested co-financing is up to 15 million GEL.
• More than 400 applications are registered in the agro-production support program. Most of them - more than 300 applications are for co-financing the agricultural machinery. More than 100 applications have been submitted for co-financing the purchase of fixed assets for the arrangement and modernization of greenhouses and their installation works, as well as for co-financing the purchase and installation of the irrigation system for annual agricultural crops. The budget of the agro-production support program is 10 million GEL.
