State program of Technical Assistance has been amended at the initiative of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of eorgia. Under the decision approved at the governments meeting, agricultural cooperatives will have additional possibilities to ensure the adjustment of their activities and production to the international standards.

Thus, two new goals will be added to the state technical assistance program, which sees co-financing of the consultancy services for the management of agricultural cooperatives and of the expenses for the registration of trademarks by agricultural cooperatives.

In case of consultancy services for the management of agricultural cooperatives the co-financing is 80% and not more than GEL 15 000, and in case of trademark registration by agricultural cooperatives - 70% of the cost of trademark registration and not more than GEL 750.
