Those wishing to participate in programs/projects must submit applications only in Georgian.

The Agency co-financing procedure

  • An applicant selects an agricultural land plot containing a tea plantation designated for rehabilitation.
  • If the land belongs to another individual or the state, the applicant must submit a request to LLC "Adam Beridze Soil and Food Diagnostics Center (Anaseuli)" using the designated application form. The applicant must provide land identification documents (extracts from the Public Registry) and an agro-technological plan.
  • The Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture will issue a certificate of compliance or non-compliance with the program's criteria.
  • The applicant selects a rehabilitation company, which assesses the plantation’s condition and prepares a cost estimate for the rehabilitation work.
  • The applicant downloads the application form, completes it, and submits it to the agency along with the required supporting documentation.
  • The agency reviews the submitted documents and, if they meet program conditions, determines obligations and structures a co-financing agreement with the applicant. The co-financing agreement or a conditional co-financing agreement is signed between the agency and the participant.

*Note - A conditional co-financing agreement is issued only if the participant plans to lease a state-owned tea plantation. The condition is considered fulfilled when the lease agreement enters into force.

Land Lease Procedure

  • The applicant submits a request to the LEPL "National Agency of State Property" along with: The conditional co-financing agreement; a bank guarantee from a commercial bank covering 10% of the co-financing amount specified in the program.
  • The National Agency of State Property reviews the application and, within one month, submits a draft resolution to the Government of Georgia for approval.
  • If approved, the National Agency of State Property signs the lease agreement with the applicant under the program's terms.
  • Once the lease agreement is signed, the bank guarantee is regulated under the lease agreement and Georgian legislation.
