In case the land is not registered, the potential beneficiary shall submit the identification documents of land to the Agency (in particular, a certificate regarding the category of land and measurement drawings (soft and hard copies)), after that the Agency applies to the LEPL National State Property Agency regarding the registration of land. In case the land is not registered as the state property, the beneficiary shall apply to the Rural Development Agency and submit relevant documents.
What are the main criteria for participant willing to take part in the program?
Rehabilitation tea plantation area should be no less than 5 hectares and shall not be more than 300 hectares. In order to receive co-financing agricultural cooperatives shall have in ownership not less than 5 hectares and no more than 50 hectares of tea plantation.
Whom must they address in order to participate in the program?
The Participant must address the Non-entrepreneurial (Non-commercial) Legal Entity Rural Development Agency.

What are the terms for obtaining co-financing?
In case the rehabilitation tea plantations are owned by the program beneficiary, cost for rehabilitation works will be financed in the amount of 60%, in case of lease in the amount of 70%. In case rehabilitation tea plantations are owned by agricultural cooperatives the mentioned cost will be financed in the amount of 80% and in case of lease in the amount of 90%.
What is the term to review the application?
The order for the selection of potential beneficiaries is determined in accordance with the date the application (with relevant documents) is submitted to the Rural Development Agency by the entrepreneur.
What privileges do the agricultural cooperatives have?
The Rural Development Agency will transfer primary tea processing machinery, equipment and inventory to the agricultural cooperatives into property within 12 months after the submission of act regarding the acceptance of tea processing factory building into exploitation.
