This year, the harvest of non-standard apples will be more than 50 thousand tons. In order to ensure that the produced products do not remain, farmers get income, the state program to promote the sale of non-standard apples will be implemented this year, as in previous years.
Within the framework of the state program, the Rural Development Agency provides a subsidy of 0.10 Lari per 1 kg of non-standard apples. The state subsidy will be given to those fruit processing companies that will buy 1 kg of non-standard apples from farmers for at least 24 whites by December 15, 2023.
A special working group will be created, which will coordinate the apple delivery process on the spot.
Fruit processing enterprises, which will be involved in the project, will be obliged to register in electronic form at the coordination headquarters.
