Georgia Participates in the International Exhibition Anuga Select India for the First Time

With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and organized by the Rural Development Agency, Georgia is participating for the first time this year in the international exhibition Anuga Select India, currently being held in Mumbai, India.

Representatives of the agri-food sector presented in the Georgian pavilion are introducing their export potential to foreign and local visitors of the exhibition.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of India, Vakhtang Jaoshvili, visited the Georgian pavilion, learned about the export opportunities of Georgian companies on site, and pledged support to Georgian producers in establishing themselves in the Indian market and developing international partnerships.

At the Georgian pavilion, the companies: “Khoni Plantations”, “GeoAgro Estate”, “Agritouch”, “Niadagi Group”, “Gentry Investment”, “Aroma Product”, “Farming Construction” presented blueberries, hazelnuts, almonds, and natural juices of their own production.

It is noteworthy that Anuga Select India is an international platform that brings together food and beverage producers, importers, and distributors in one space.

The presentation of the Georgian pavilion at the international exhibition Anuga Select India is an important opportunity for the Georgian agri-food sector in terms of diversifying export markets.
