12 months interest on the loan issued under the preferential agro-credit sub-component is financed. The maximum annual interest rate of the loan is 18%, of which 9% per annum is financed by the state.

The purpose of the loan includes sowing and planting of annual crops, pesticides, organic and mineral fertilizers, biological means of plant protection, equipment fuel, and lubricants, as well as financing the costs of hiring labor and agricultural machinery.

The project can be used by individuals, citizens of Georgia, individual entrepreneurs registered in accordance with the legislation of Georgia and legal entities registered in accordance with the legislation of Georgia (except for state / municipal enterprises).

Within the sub-component of financing the annual crops of preferential agro-credit, financial institutions will issue loans until October 31, 2022.

The purpose of the loans in the preferential agro-credit project is to reduce the cost of working capital for growing annual crops and to enable farmers to produce more quality agricultural products.
