The current phase of Plant the Future was summarized and the future plans were discussed in Gori

At the meeting, Giorgi Khanishvili, First Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, and Giorgi Khojevanishvili, Governor of Shida Kartli together with local farmers summarized the current phase of the project "Plant the Future" and discussed future plans.

The focus was on effective use of agricultural lands in the country. It was noted that, through the cultivation of perennial crops, the export of products gradually increases.

"It is important for us to share farmers' opinions on current and planned projects that facilitate development of agrarian sector. We had a very interesting meeting in Shida Kartli. We discussed challenges and activities that have been successfully implemented by the Ministry for several years, "said Giorgi Khanishvili.

At the meeting, they discussed the mechanisms that will facilitate the agricultural products produced in Georgia to occupy niche markets.

The meeting, which was attended by farmers and representatives of agricultural associations, was held in the discussion format.

The project "Plant the Future" is implemented within the framework of "United AgroProject" by the Agricultural Projects Management Agency, which aims to create an environment that will facilitate the growth of competitiveness in agriculture, stable growth of high quality products, introduction of international standards of food safety.
