Hazelnut farmers must register their orchards in the Hazelnut Cadastre by April 30, 2025, to participate in the state program.

The working group representatives of the Hazelnut Cadastre will visit villages according to a designated schedule. Information about the schedule for the upcoming week, including specific regions, villages, and visit dates, is available on the website of the Rural Development Agency. This information is updated every Friday.

It is necessary to complete the registration process in the Hazelnut Cadastre even if the participant had already registered their hazelnut orchard last year.

To receive the subsidy, a Georgian citizen, as an individual, must own or have actual possession of a hazelnut orchard with a total area of no less than 0.2 hectares and no more than 3 hectares. The subsidy amount is determined at 500 GEL per hectare of hazelnut orchard.

The subsidy for program participants will be issued on a Liberty Bank AgroCard through the allocation of corresponding points. The accumulation of points will begin gradually from April of this year. The deadline for using the allocated points in specialized agro-stores is August 31, 2025.
