By the decision of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, meetings were held with the representatives of the self-governments of all regions of Georgia.

Giorgi Gonadze, the Deputy Governor of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Region and Otar Shamugia, First Deputy Director of the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency addressed the participants.

In his speech, Otar Shamugia summed up the meetings held in the regions and underlined the importance of involvement of self-government in informing the farmers about the public projects.

At the meeting, the representatives of the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture presented presentations on current and planned projects.

During the meetings, they discussed the mechanisms of increasing the access to information on current and planned programs and services implemented by the Ministry and the agencies within the system of the Ministry.

The meetings are organized by the agency of the Ministry - Agricultural and Rural Development Agency.
