Meeting with the representatives of self-governments of each region of Georgia are held by the decision of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia.

Regular meeting by the participation of the representatives of Mtskheta-Mtianeti self-government and local government was held in Mtskheta city.

Shalva Kereselidze, the State Attorney Governor of Mtsheta-Mtianeti region and Giorgi Jibladze, the Deputy Director of Agricultural and Rural Development Agency gave the speech to the participants of the Meeting.

The importance of the involvement of government in projects of Agricultural and Rural Development Agency for awareness of local farmers was underlined by MR, Giorgi Jibladze in his speech and summarized the activities of the Agency within the region.

In 2019 year, in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region several special programs were implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia for assistance of agricultural sector, mountainous settlement strengthening and support of farmers. Total volume of financing amounted up to 12 million GEL. Melioration works were performed and the possibility of irrigation of arable land significantly increased.

Presentations on ongoing and planned projects were provided at the meeting by the representatives of relevant agencies of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia.

The mechanisms of increase of availability om information about accomplished, ongoing and planned programs and services were discussed at the meeting by the representatives of the Ministry and agencies subordinated to the Ministry.
