Obligations of Program beneficiaries
Within 5 years term since concluding the agreement, the beneficiary is obliged to:
- Retain the status of the agricultural cooperative;
- Retain the minimum number of shareholders under the Program;
- Retain the minimum area of land plot(s) under the Program;
- Not to alienate agricultural machinery purchased in the scopes of the Program;
- Not to allow the transportation of agricultural machinery purchased in the scopes of the Program across the state border of Georgia.
The beneficiary of the program is obliged to ensure the pledge of agricultural machinery (identifiable machinery with license plate granted by the LEPL “Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia”) purchased within the frameworks of the project in favor of the Agency for the term established by the Agency.
(Agricultural machinery is identifiable and license plate of motor vehicle is granted by the LEPL “Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia”).
The pledge on the agricultural machinery purchased by the beneficiary within the frameworks of the program in favor of the Agency may be second in order, only in case if the credit issued by financial institution is the co-financing source for participation in purchase of agricultural machinery by beneficiary and to ensure this credit, the financial institution is the first order pledgee of the equipment.
Beneficiary shall be exempted from pawn of agricultural machinery to the favor of the Agency only if the source of the beneficiary's participation in the purchase of the agricultural machinery is leasing.
