8 Georgian companies were represented at the international agricultural exhibition held in Saudi Arabia
Organized by the Rural Development Agency, At Saudi Agriculture International Trade Exhibition in Riyadh, 8 Georgian companies presented its agricultural products to visitors.
The opening of the large-scale exhibition was attended by Director of the Rural Development Agency Davit Tsitlidze and Representative of the Embassy of Georgia in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ioseb Gamgonidze.
"Diversification of export markets is important for us. Saudi Arabia is one of the fastest growing economies. Georgian products are sold in the local trade network, however, participation in such a large-scale international exhibition, I think, will significantly contribute to the growth of the export of Georgian products both in Saudi Arabia and in the Middle East", noted the director of the Rural Development Agency, Davit Tsitlidze.
Georgian walnuts, blueberries, water, dry fruits, chilled lamb meat and organic juices produced by the companies - Agrokizig, Water Margebeli, Achinevili, Anigozi, Khoni Plantations, Kampa, Jimanatsi and Caesar were presented at the Georgian stand.
This year, the exhibition was held for the 40th time and about 40 countries and about 400 local and international companies took part in it. Annually, the number of visitors to the exhibition reaches 18,000. The participants and visitors of the exhibition have the opportunity to get acquainted with the innovations in the agriculture and food industry - modern technologies introduced by leading companies and manufactured equipment.
Saudi Agriculture International Trade Exhibition started on October 23 and ended on October 26 of this year.
