Entrepreneurs from Georgia presented their products at the "CASPIAN AGRO 2024" exhibition in Baku
With the support of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture and the organization of the Rural Development Agency, in the Republic of Azerbaijan, At the international agricultural exhibition "CASPIAN AGRO 2024" in Baku, 8 Georgian companies introduced their agricultural products to the visitors.
At the Georgian stand, Georgian walnuts, canned goods, natural juices, confectionery products produced by the companies "Achinebuli", "Anigozi", "Kalakuri", "Sadili", "Kula", "Maisi", "Georgian Bakers" and "Zelatosi" were presented. Dried fruit, organic juices and more. It should be noted that 6 companies participating in the exhibition are beneficiaries of state programs.
The director of the Rural Development Agency, Davit Tsitlidze, and the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataradze, attended the exhibition held in Baku.
As the director of the Rural Development Agency, Davit Tsitlidze, noted, the presentation of Georgian products at international exhibitions significantly contributes to the export of Georgian agro-food products.
"As you know, Azerbaijan is an important trade and economic partner of Georgia. The trade turnover between the two countries is steadily increasing. As for participation in exhibitions, it significantly contributes to raising the awareness of products and establishing business contacts", said Zurab Pataradze, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
"CASPIAN AGRO" exhibition has more than 15,000 visitors every year. This year, 25 countries and about 500 local and international companies operating in the agricultural sector took part in the exhibition.
