Within the framework of the state program, Receiving non-standard apples in Shida Kartli, Kvemo Kartli, Kakheti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Racha-Lechkhumi regions is in process. As of October 27, a total of 12,646 tons of apples have been processed by 12 companies involved in the promotion program for non-standard apple sales. Farmers received an income of more than 3.5 million GEL, the state subsidy exceeded 1.2 million GEL.

With the support of the state program for promoting the sale of non-standard apples, farmers will be able to deliver non-standard apples to the fruit processing enterprises included in the program, no less than 24 tetri, until December 15. Within the framework of the program, when purchasing non-standard apples, the state subsidy is 10 tetri per 1 kg of non-standard apples.
