“Agrolane” LTD, an enterprise equipped in compliance with international standards was opened within the framework of “United Agro-project”, in Village Vartsikhe, Baghdati Municipality, Imereti.

In total an investment of GEL 1,046,500 was made, out of which GEL 419,397 is a grant and GEL 522,495 preferential agro-credit. Annual throughput of the enterprise is up to 300 tons of fruit processing. The product is sold both on the local market as well as abroad.    About 150 people are employed in the processing enterprise in the season.  The company has implemented International Standards ISO: 22 000 with the support of the Rural and Agriculture Development Agency and USAID / REAP.
