The financial support for the new enterprise was provided through the  state program “Co-financing of  processing and storage enterprises”. A total investment of GEL 1,100,000 was invested in the enterprise,   376,400 gel is a grant and the rest is invested by the beneficiary. The plant can process up to 200 tons of dry bay leaf per year. The products are sold on the local and export markets. 26 local residents are employed permanently, and the number of seasonal workers is increased annually. By the end of 2020, the company is planning to implement the international standard of food safety - ISO: 22 000 with the support of the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency.
