Those wishing to participate in programs/projects must submit applications only in Georgian.
Program Objectives and Limitations
The program envisages the establishment of new businesses as well as the modernization and / or expansion of existing businesses, which include:
1. Financing of fixed assets, including: machinery, equipment for production and specialized types of vehicles, construction and repair works;
2. Working capital financing - financing the purchase of raw materials only by maximum of 20% of the total cost of the project (loan amount).
The following businesses will not be funded under the program:
- Gambling business (gambling games);
- Trade;
- Financial services (including pawnshop);
- Extreme sports and related services;
- Transport service;
- Construction (development) activities;
- Primary production of agricultural products;
- Production of military, nuclear, tobacco, and hazardous substances;
- Charitable activities;
- Food facilities;
- Hotel (including family hotel);
- Purchase of real estate;
- Purchase of shares / stocks;
- Religious, political, military and other similar activities.
It is not allowed to finance the following by the Agency funding amount:
- Repayment of any loan obligations;
- Purchase of a vehicle, except for a specialized type of vehicle required for production;
- Financing of current costs (including transportation, salaries, insurance and utility fee).
It is prohibited to:
- Use a loan issued under this program for refinancing / restructuring the beneficiary’s other loans.
- Apply the terms and conditions of the Decree of the Government of Georgia No. 139 of January 27, 2014 on the Approval of Preferential Agro Credit Project and Processing and Storage Enterprises Financing Project”, terms and conditions of the Resolution of the Government of Georgia №365 of May 30, 2014 on the Approval of the State Program “Produce in Georgia” and / or the credit guarantee scheme provided by the Resolution of the Government of Georgia №163 of March 29, 2019 on the Approval of the State Program of Credit Guarantee Scheme to loans issued within the framework of this program.
- Issue more than 25% of the total budget of the program to wine companies, in the regional context.
