Georgian pavilion presented at the international exhibition "FRUIT LOGISTICA" in Berlin
With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and the organization of the Rural Development Agency, eleven Georgian companies are participating in the international exhibition FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026 held in Berlin, the Federal Republic of Germany.
The Rural Development Agency, in cooperation with the German Economic Association, presented blueberry, dried fruit and spice producing companies in the Georgian pavilion this year: "Agrolane", "Blue Bird Berries", "Kolkhuri Kenkra", "Agritouch", "Geo Agro Estate", "Khoni Plantation", "Geo Organic", "Alpine Spice", "Gentry Investment", "Caucasus Organic Fruits", and "Georgian Agrarian Union".
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Giorgi Avaliani, Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency, and Aleksandre Kartozia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Germany.
According to Giorgi Avaliani, the international exhibition “FRUIT LOGISTICA” is an important platform for expanding the export of Georgian products. This year, 9 Georgian companies producing blueberries are represented at the exhibition.
“Blueberries are one of the most sought-after products with high export potential. Georgia has both quality and seasonal advantages, which makes Georgian products particularly attractive in various international markets. Such exhibitions are a good opportunity to increase export volumes, establish trade relations and sustainable development of blueberry producing companies,” noted Giorgi Avaliani.
FRUIT LOGISTICA is one of the largest international exhibitions in Europe and is a global platform for fruit and vegetable producers. This year, more than 2,500 local and international companies operating in the agricultural sector are participating in the exhibition.
The international exhibition opened on February 4 and will end on February 6.
