At the conference “AgriFuture Georgia”, global trends in agricultural production were discussed
At the agri-conference “AgriFuture Georgia”, which was dedicated to strengthening Georgia’s agricultural potential through international cooperation, participants discussed agricultural production trends, modern technologies for blueberry cultivation, and opportunities for utilizing international services.
“The Rural Development Agency actively cooperates with the private sector and industry organizations involved in agricultural production to support both primary production and storage-processing directions, market diversification, and increasing awareness of Georgian products.
The trend of blueberry production is growing, which is the result of the increasing productivity of blueberry orchards established with state support year by year. The harvested product has already been exported for several years,” said Giorgi Avaliani, Acting Director of the Rural Development Agency, during his speech at the agri-conference.
The event, organized by the agri-consulting company “Niadagi Group”, was attended by representatives of state and financial organizations, international service providers, local farmers, and exporters.
